How Active Start helps

Flexible support for families and professionals

Active Start has been developed since 2009 and used in a range of programmes acorss the UK. Active Starts aims to offer support to those working with young children. Active Start offers a range of support from our free app, tailored one-to-one support for families, small group sessions (external or in-house), or practical training courses designed for those working with children.

Active Start App

The Active Start App is free and offers a range of resources, activities and courses for both parents and professionals. You can plan your week with fun activities and at the end download your weekly report certficate, downlaod free resources and for professionals access courses

Small Groups and 1:1

Active Start offers a range of supportive, engaging sessions with a child-centred approach. These include sessions inhouse as well at early years and School locations. We also offer 1:1 support for families looking to help their child reach their potential.

Professional Courses

Active Start workshops have been developed in partnership over the years with Barnardos, 4Children, University of Bristol and other organisations. We now have refuned the perfect training course for those wokring with young children. This is available in person and also a basic version for FREE on our app.
